When Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 first released it came with Kinect support but unfortunately the standard pose for taking a swing in the game was not as expected. Due to limitations with the Kinect SDK you had to face the screen rather than taking a swing side-on for the Kinect to accurately track movements. Since then the Kinect SDK has had an update and the developers have had a chance to tune the Amateur and Pro difficulties; the parallel position is now available via a title update. Unfortunately Amateur and Pro are the only difficulty levels that you can use this new pose and for Pro Tour and Tournament, you will have to stick to facing the screen.
The article from Kotaku also explains this in more depth and delves into the disappointment that the team faced when they saw how few people have adopted to use Kinect for harder difficulties. What do you all think of the Kinect features for this? Good, bad or slightly awkward, please let us know in the comments below.
