Possible PES 2013 voice control

During the Microsoft E3 conference, EA revealed that FIFA 13 would be sporting some voice commands using the Kinect. Now it appears that Konami are interested in following suit with PES 2013, by letting you substitute players.

“FIFA has implemented the option to give instructions to players by voice of Kinect feature,” PES 2013′s marketing producer Manorito Hosoda told VideoGamer.

“But we think it is not so intuitive control. Kinect may be used in PES for substituting players. It is just a fresh idea, but it can be used for substituting players in the game.”

Whether it would work during the game or just during breaks isn’t touched on but hopefully they will decide on including it. They may not be completely sold with involving Kinect too heavily but if they do start adding little features like subs, then it can only be a good thing. There is a demo due out in July, before the full release later this year, so with any luck we will see it in the demo if it’s there at all.
