Kinect Sports: Season Two has an All Access Pass

The Kinect Sports: Season Two All Access Pass is here. Getting the pass will grant players all five DLC packs that have released since launch and will only set players back $10 or 800 microsoft points. This price means that players are essentially getting one of the three paid packs for free. The packs are:

Basketball Challenge Pack – try out some brand new sport mechanics by slotting three Basketball activities into your game.

Midnight Mountain Ski Pack – three all-new Skiing slopes to attempt under cover of darkness. Don’t worry: floodlights included.

Maple Lakes Golf Pack – nine more Golf holes to double the size of the Maple Lakes resort. Play a full 18-hole match!

Challenge Pack #1 – the initial pack of six bonus activities, one per sport, from Rapid Returner to Champion Chip.

Challenge Pack #2 – the second pack of six additional sporting activities, from Top Jumps to Darts Vs Zombies.

This is a great way to pick up all the DLC and get back into playing Kinect Sports: Season Two.

BAFTA Winners and Nominations

The British Academy Video Games Awards, BAFTA, winners list was released on March 16th. There were multiple Kinect games up for consideration. In the category of Game Innovation was Child of Eden which lost to LittleBigPlanet 2. There were also two games nominated from the Kinect in the category of Family, they were Kinect Sports 2 and Dance Central 2, which were both fantastic games. Unfortunately they both lost yet again to LittleBigPlanet 2. Luckily there were three different Kinect games nominated in the Sports/Fitness category. They were Dance Central 2, Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012, and Kinect Sports 2. Kinect Sports 2 won the award with Dance Central 2 close behind. There was even a special award given to Mr. Markus Persson for creating Minecraft and becoming a sort of rally cry for indie developers everywhere. Minecraft is coming to XLBA Kinect sometime in the Spring of 2012.
