Microsoft has announced that the $99 4GB Xbox 360 package that debuted at Microsoft Stores in North America last month is now available at Best Buy and select GameStop locations. For those who need a refresher, the purchaser pays $99 up front for a 4GB Xbox 360 and a Kinect sensor. Additionally, the buyer signs a 2-year contact which obligates them to pay $14.99 a month for the next two years. Upon signing the contact, the consumer gets access to Xbox Live Gold for the duration of the contract. If for some reason, the proud new Xbox owner decides to terminate their contact before the two year term is up, they will be subject to an early termination fee.
