Have what it takes to be the ultimate Kinect athletics champion? Starting June 1st, players will be able to show off their physical talents in Summer Stars 2012 across all platforms in the United Kingdom, developers Deep Silver and 49Games announced. With over 18 different disciplines and challenges, Kinect Olympians can experience a wide variety of feats at renown arenas and competitions across the globe. The four screenshots released depict Archery, Mountain Biking, Swimming and throwing, but the release came with word of competitions including Triple Jump, Diving and Sprinting among others.
Multiplayer capabilities promise direct competition with up to three players on split screen. The game also encompasses different control styles for players to choose how physically interactive they want the experience to be. Arcade-style controls can be chosen in lieu of of motion control on the Kinect for a less exhausting workout.
