Need For Speed: Most Wanted has confirmed Kinect support. It will be in the form of voice commands rather than an imaginary steering wheel or some form of waving one’s body around. No exact list of commands has been released as the team is still working out what they will be.

They are in place so that instead of using an on-the-fly menu, gamers can focus on the screen and not take their eyes off of the race. An example of a command would be giving players the ability to switch the tires on their car from street to off road. There are some more fascinating commands in the form of “engine off” which would be used when your hiding from the cops. Or commands such as “look around” which gives the player a 360 pan of their car and “rear view”  which provides a temporary peek at who is chasing them through the rear view mirror. The commands have us very interested in how it will improve the gameplay.
