As promised, Bethesda has officially announced the first downloadable content for their critically successful role-playing game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Scheduled to release on Xbox 360 this summer, literally no other details were made available outside of the title Dawnguard, and the teaser image above. Bethesda has promised that we will get more details on the add-on next month at E3. Thanks to the investigative minds over at Joystiq however, you can feast on this rumor; We’re hearing rumblings of crossbows, snow elves, and an almighty snow elf prince. We have no idea what all that means, but those things were discovered within Skyrim‘s game files in a folder titled “DLC01″, so do the math.
Speaking of Skyrim, a title update went live just this morning that has added Kinect support to the game. You can now shout voice commands at your television that will aid you in your quest to slay all of the world’s dragons thanks to the magic of Kinect. You can check out the full list of recognizable voice commands that Skyrim will recognize by checking out our story from earlier today. Now go test out Skyrim‘s fancy new voice commands and start psyching yourself up for Dawnguard! We’ll bring you more news on the DLC as soon as it breaks.
