Nike+ Kinect Training demo out

Nike+ Kinect Training has a demo, YAY! Now you can try out all those personalised exercise routines in your home but only if you have a large room to do it all in. You need 8 ft or 2.4 m in order to use the training game but assuming you have that space, you should get a taste of what’s to come.

It’s marketed pretty heavily as a game that professional athletes can use, as well as us regular people for our personal training. Whether it will replace the likes of Your Shape Fitness Evolved or Dance Central is a matter to be seen.

Fox Broadcasting app released

Fox Broadcasting now has its very own app on the 360 dashboard. As per usual, it is only available to Gold subscribers but unfortunately the restrictions don’t stop there. You will also need either; a Dish or Verizon FiOS subscription in order to use the app.

If you are lucky enough to meet the requirements; then you can enjoy a range of Fox TV shows including; Family Guy, New Girl, House and 24. As always it will feature Kinect integration, allowing you to gesture and command the app to: pause, rewind, fast forward and all the other actions we’re used to seeing in these apps.

Kinect Demo Roundup

Over the last few days, some new Kinect demos have cropped up on the marketplace. Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth and Dance Central 3 now have demos for you to play and help decide whether you’ll pick up the full games later this month. Dance Central 3 is due for release in the US on the 16th and 19th in Europe. Marvel Avengers on the other hand is out on the 30th in the US and coming soon in Europe; though retailers seem to have November 9th down for preorders.

Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth is being developed at Ubisoft Quebec; the same team behind the super hero themed PowerUp Heroeswhich was reasonably good. The demo involves a singular battle pitting The Hulk and Thor versus Captain America Skrull and Magneto Skrull. If it sounds fun then stick it in your download queue here.

Dance Central 3, the latest installment in the ever popular dance series, also has a demo; which you can grab here. This installment will offer more of the same core gameplay; as well as a “beginner” difficulty, a story mode and some expanded multiplayer party modes.

If you pick up either of them, we would love to hear what you think in the comments below.
