Angry Birds Trilogy with Kinect functionality announced for Xbox 360

Activision and Rovio have announced that the insanely successful Angry Birds franchise is finally making its way to the Xbox 360, and it’s packing a Kinect supported punch. Titled Angry Birds Trilogy, the game compiles Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio onto one disc, built from the ground up for high-definition consoles. While there aren’t a ton of details being shot out of Rovio’s catapult just yet, we do know that the developer is taking advantage of the new hardware to create more eye-popping visuals and that the Xbox 360 version of the game will also feature some sort of Kinect functionality. At this point in time, we’re not quite sure if that means that the game will be completely playable via Kinect or if its support of Microsoft’s motion control accessory will be more of an extra feature. Regardless, you can look forward to swine vanquishing for yourself in Angry Birds Trilogy this holiday season.
